General Questions

No, at this time you cannot pass through the security checkpoint with a Leatherman multitool in your "carry-on" luggage. The following are generally permitted under the current TSA rules (updated 3rd January 2018) but its worth remembering that it may still be subject to additional screening or not allowed through the checkpoint.

Juice CS3, Tread, Tread LT, Tread Metric, Brewzer, Grind, Hail + Style PS, Jam, Piranha 2, Thruster, Style PS, Pump, Rail, Cam.

International laws vary and the final decision rests with the TSA officer on whether an item is allowed through the checkpoint for the safety of all crew and passengers. Please check the www.tsa.gov website for a full update on their Sharp Object policy. Also note that lost, stolen or confiscated tools are not covered by the Leatherman warranty policy.

Warranty Questions

All of our products are warranted against material or manufacturing defects from the date of the original purchase. The length of a product’s warranty does depend on the manufacturer.

You simply have to print and fill out the Warranty Returns Form provided here, put the form and your product in the post to us and we'll take care of the rest. If a fault is found we'll repair or replace your product and send it back to you free of charge.

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, abuse, alteration, theft, loss or unauthorised and/or unreasonable use of your product.

Step 1 - Package your warranty item securely

Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for items that do not reach us. Please send your warranty repair via an insured and trackable service where delivery confirmation can be obtained if necessary. Please don't send your accessories.

The form must be completed, signed and included with your defective product in order for us to process your warranty request.

Step 3 - We do the rest; 

If a fault is found, provided it is within the manufacturer’s Warranty period, we'll replace your defective item free of charge and return it to you at our expense.

You are responsible for shipping costs for returning your defective item to us. We will return your replacement at our cost.

We aim to process all warranties within 10 working days from receipt.
