What beverages are compatible with Era Flip?
Compatible with cold beverages and iced carbonated beverages.
When using with carbonated beverages on an airplane or at high altitudes, pressure will build up inside and may escape through the straw when opening it. To alleviate pressure and prevent this from happening, slowly slide back your SlideSeal™ lid to release pressure.
How do I cover + uncover the Era Flip straw?
To open: push the slider back while the magnets take hold and expose the straw.
To close: push the slider forward to move the straw down and cover it for a 100% leakproof seal.
How do I wash my Era Flip?
Every single piece is removable, making this the most hygienic straw tumbler there is. All Era Flip lids, straws, and interior components are top-rack dishwasher safe.
Most Era Flip bodies are top-rack dishwasher safe, with a few exceptions. Check the bottom pad of your tumbler for washing instructions.
When washing your lids, remove the SlideSeal™ slider by pushing back further from the open position until it disconnects from the lid. With the SoftSip™ straw, ensure the nub on the straw assembly is facing you. Tilt the SoftSip™ straw piece to the left to disconnect it from the lid (for deep cleaning, pull the silicone straw piece off, as well). Turn the lid over and remove the ColdKey™ stainless steel straw by twisting with the tabs until the notch aligns with the vertical grooves; pull down to release the straw. For deep cleaning, the gasket under the SoftSip™ straw piece and the cold key straw can also be removed.
Does the Era Flip lid fit other products?
Era Flip 30oz + 40oz lids are interchangeable between sizes. However, be sure to use the ColdKey™ stainless steel straw that fits each specific size, as the 40oz straw is longer than the 30oz straw. The product name and size is engraved into the bottom of the ColdKey™ straw for you to easily identify the correct size.
Era Flip lids and straws are not compatible with original Era Series bodies or other BrüMate products.
How do remove my ColdKey™ Straw?
To remove the ColdKey™ metal straw for cleaning, twist the straw until the notch aligns with the vertical grooves, and pull down to release the straw.
